This is Oliver. He’s a nine-week old Golden Retriever, and boy is he handsome! We had been talking about getting a dog for a while, and after scouring the local shelters for one that would be a good fit for our family, we ultimately decided to go the route of using a reputable breeder. Oliver seems to be settling in just fine, and methinksΒ I just found another photography subject!

Thanks. His dad (Henry) is a big dog, and he’s from pretty good genes. Right now it’s hard to believe that he’s going to grow into a big boy… he’s such a cuddly baby.

Thanks Rebecca… he’s a keeper for sure, and make no mistake about it, he will be having his photograph taken every now and then πŸ™‚

Gail… Thanks so much! I’m just getting started on the first book… loving it. This little baby makes me want to learn all that I can to do right by him.

What a handsome guy! He does look like he’ll be a big one. You and your family will have so much fun and joy with him. You do realize you won’t be able to leave him home when you go on your photo excursions? πŸ™‚

I can’t wait to take him on trips… right now he walks about 5 yards then sits, then walks 5 yards and sits… very funny.

How sweet! We had a golden that my children grew up with. They are a great family dog. Very tolerant of kids crawling and hanging all over them.
Look forward to hearing Oliver stories.

Thanks Nancy. He’s adorable and already has an incredibly sweet temperament. He just wants to be in the same place we are… and to cuddle.

I'd love to hear from you...
