My new favorite photograph

I realize that just because I like a particular photograph, there is no guarantee that others will like it. I hope they do of course, but I have no control over what others like or don’t like. I also know that as photographers we develop emotional attachments to particular images – personal feelings about a scene that others may never share – so favorites can be very subjective indeed.

My new favorite photograph is posted below. As time passes though – and as those personal feelings fade – then perhaps the image below will no longer be my favorite photograph. Actually, I’m hoping that sooner rather than later I create my new “new” favorite photograph, but in the meantime, here’s my latest new favorite photograph. Still following?

I hope you like it πŸ™‚

  1. Inspired and pretty

I think you have it David, the rolling waves, the drama in the sky, the soaked rocks, the cliff…It’s a perfect photo, very beautiful !

  2. David, your blog is just beautiful! I’m visiting Maine for the first time right now, and your images are a perfect reflection of this gorgeous place. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you. Looks like you’re enjoying your visit to Maine despite the cool, wet weather. Hopefully you’ll get some sunshine soon πŸ™‚

I'd love to hear from you...
