The craic was good!

Just a quick update… we have been visiting with family the past couple of days, but are getting ready to head down south this morning to start our adventure on the west coast of Ireland. The camera hasn’t been out of the bag much so far, but hopefully that will change over the next few days.

We had a great night on Friday hosted by my sister Joan where all of the family gathered and Sam had a chance to get to know his cousins much better. As always, there isn’t enough time on a trip like this to properly see everyone you want to see and do everything you want to do, but it has been really nice to catch up with everyone again. I think Sam has really enjoyed the time spent with this side of the family, and I know they have enjoyed getting to know him. I can vividly remember bringing him over here when he was only a year old… how time flies!

More importantly, Ireland beat England in the big rugby game yesterday, so all is well in the world. As they say over here… “The craic was good!”

We’re off to Enniskillen for lunch with friends, and then away we go toward Galway and Killarney. Photographs to follow…

I know that us four certainly enjoyed seeing the two of you this weekend. I have been trying to convince Dianne to take me to America soon, no luck yet but i have time :). I must say that Friday night was great. Joan did herself proud. Pity we missed the desserts :(. I look forward to seeing the blogs you post whilst your down south. Drive safe 🙂 x

Katy… the desserts were VERY good! It was great to see everyone again, and I know Sam had a great time with all of the cousins. You know we would love to have the Lurgan Pattersons come over to visit… keep working on your mum.

I'd love to hear from you...
