The trip from Bangor to Boston was wet, dreary, but uneventful. We arrived at Logan airport with plenty of time to spare, and enjoyed a quick bite to eat before we have to head down to our gate to begin boarding.
I learned a long time ago that the stress level when traveling comes way down if you can avoid the long lines when checking in and then getting through the TSA screening.
Sam and I are both ready to get settled in for the flight in the hopes of grabbing at least a couple of hours sleep.
With the time difference going east, we will land at about 1:30am our time… 5:30am Ireland time, so unless we want to be totally dragging as we explore Dublin on St. Paddy’s Day, we should probably try to close our eyes for a while.
The weather forecast for the time we are spending in Killarney is spectacular! Looks like we are in for a treat… but then again… the weather in Ireland is so changeable I am kind of skeptical about how accurate it will be.
If you have ever spent any time in Ireland, you know that the chances of there being a stretch of 5-6 days without rain are pretty slim, so we shall see… but it does look promising 🙂
