While wandering the rugged granite rocks near the Otter Point shoreline, I started taking notice of some smaller textures, shapes, and surfaces under my feet. Over time Mother Nature has etched her art on this canvas in many powerful yet subtle ways, and the details to be discovered are amazing. The images in this post are a sample of abstract scenes from this area… one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in America.

The first one here reminds me of old maps.
I need to get to Acadia…. *sigh*
Amy… that’s exactly what I thought when I first saw it!
I like it! Seeing the photos, I am reminded that beauty exists all around us and we only need to pay a little better attention sometimes and we will be richly rewarded. Thanks for sharing.
Steve… thanks. Couldn’t agree more!
